Description
Deliciously fluffy strawberry cinnamon rolls filled with fresh strawberries and warm cinnamon, topped with a creamy icing.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar for filling
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar for icing
- 1–2 tablespoons milk for icing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking dish by greasing it lightly.
- Whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix the melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Flour your working surface and roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread the chopped strawberries evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon across the strawberries.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log from one edge.
- Slice the log into equal pieces about 1-2 inches thick.
- Place the rolls into your greased baking dish and let them rise for 15-20 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Mix the powdered sugar with milk until smooth for the icing and drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
Consider substituting strawberries with other berries or spices for a unique twist. Don’t overload the strawberries while spreading.
