Description

A delightful dish featuring juicy chicken breasts marinated in a mixture of honey and lime juice, resulting in a sweet and tangy flavor that’s perfect for summer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, lime juice, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the top.
  3. Seal the bag tightly or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess marinade drip off.
  6. Grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  7. Once cooked, serve hot, garnished with chopped cilantro if desired.

Notes

Make-Ahead Tip: Marinate the chicken a day in advance for deeper flavors. Cooking Alternatives: Air fryer or oven works wonderfully too.
