- 4 chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Mix together honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl until smooth.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a heavy-bottom skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken to the skillet, cooking until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
- Pour the honey-lemon mixture over the seared chicken and reduce heat to low.
- Simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze thickens.
- Serve warm and drizzle extra glaze over the dish.
Notes
