Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Mix together honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl until smooth.
  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a heavy-bottom skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chicken to the skillet, cooking until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
  5. Pour the honey-lemon mixture over the seared chicken and reduce heat to low.
  6. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze thickens.
  7. Serve warm and drizzle extra glaze over the dish.
