- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until they start to sizzle.
- Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, sautéing until softened and fragrant, roughly 3–5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper, letting the spices bloom for about a minute.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking until they turn pink and opaque, around 3-5 minutes. Stir gently to ensure even cooking.
- Once cooked, garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For best taste, use wild-caught shrimp. Customize with your favorite vegetables or adjust spice levels according to preference.
