Ingredients

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
  • Water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your Dutch oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Blend the flour, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Stir in the yogurt and sour cream until well combined.
  4. Add water gradually until a sticky dough forms.
  5. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a round loaf.
  6. Allow the dough to rest for about 30 minutes.
  7. Carefully place the loaf into your hot Dutch oven and cover it with the lid.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the loaf from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
