- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, browning until fully cooked.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and diced tomatoes, seasoning to taste with salt and pepper.
- Layer the cooked pasta or rice in a baking dish, followed by the beef mixture.
- Top with shredded cheese and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
