Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz phyllo pastry sheets
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (walnuts, almonds, pistachios), chopped
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add Greek yogurt, eggs, and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix chopped nuts with cinnamon.
  5. Layer one sheet of phyllo in a greased springform pan, brushing melted butter on top.
  6. Pour half of the cheesecake mixture over the phyllo layers.
  7. Sprinkle half of the nut mixture over the cheesecake.
  8. Add another layer of phyllo dough, brushing with butter.
  9. Repeat with the remaining cheesecake and nut mixtures, topping with another layer of phyllo.
  10. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until set.
  11. In a small saucepan, combine honey and water, and simmer until syrupy.
  12. Drizzle the honey syrup on top once the cheesecake is out of the oven.
  13. Let it cool before serving.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing. Handle phyllo carefully to prevent tearing.
