Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Sliced green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken thighs in the crockpot, spreading them flat for even cooking.
  2. Prepare the sauce by combining the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a bowl; whisk until blended, then pour over the chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  4. Thicken the sauce by mixing cornstarch with water, then stirring it into the crockpot for about 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve the dish by shredding the chicken and coating it in the sauce; top with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

Marinate the chicken in the sauce overnight for deeper flavor. This dish can also be made in an air fryer or oven.
