- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 4 cups frozen tater tots
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat for 6-8 minutes.
- Drain excess fat.
- Stir in corn, diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the frozen tater tots evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the tater tots.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until tater tots are golden and crispy.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For make-ahead options, prepare the casserole a day in advance without the tater tots and cheese until you’re ready to bake.
