Description

A comforting casserole dish featuring seasoned ground beef, corn, diced tomatoes, creamy mushroom soup, and crispy tater tots topped with cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 cups frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat for 6-8 minutes.
  3. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in corn, diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Layer the frozen tater tots evenly over the top.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the tater tots.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until tater tots are golden and crispy.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For make-ahead options, prepare the casserole a day in advance without the tater tots and cheese until you’re ready to bake.
