Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl: all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, followed by the lemon zest.
  5. Alternate adding the dry mixture and buttermilk, starting and ending with the flour.
  6. Add vanilla extract and stir until combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
