- 1 can of cinnamon roll dough
- 3 cups of peeled and sliced apples (preferably Granny Smith)
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup of icing
- 1 tablespoon of butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
- Prepare the apple mixture: In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Open the cinnamon roll can and flatten each roll slightly. Layer them in the greased baking dish.
- Spread half of the cinnamon-sugar apples over the first layer of cinnamon rolls.
- Repeat with another layer of cinnamon rolls, followed by the remaining apple mixture.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce over the top layer.
- Finish with a final layer of flattened cinnamon rolls.
- Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
- Drizzle icing over the warm dessert before serving.
Notes
Try adding chopped nuts or swapping apples for pears for different flavor variations.
