Description

A delightful dessert combining fluffy cinnamon rolls and caramelized apples, topped with icing for a warm, comforting treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of cinnamon roll dough
  • 3 cups of peeled and sliced apples (preferably Granny Smith)
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup of icing
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
  2. Prepare the apple mixture: In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Open the cinnamon roll can and flatten each roll slightly. Layer them in the greased baking dish.
  4. Spread half of the cinnamon-sugar apples over the first layer of cinnamon rolls.
  5. Repeat with another layer of cinnamon rolls, followed by the remaining apple mixture.
  6. Drizzle with caramel sauce over the top layer.
  7. Finish with a final layer of flattened cinnamon rolls.
  8. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
  9. Drizzle icing over the warm dessert before serving.

Notes

Try adding chopped nuts or swapping apples for pears for different flavor variations.
