- 2 cups orzo pasta
- 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 2 cups shredded cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the orzo according to the package instructions until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Combine the cooked orzo, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, mixed vegetables (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Stir gently to coat.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese bubbles and turns golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
