- 1 whole fresh pineapple
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Optional: lime juice for drizzling
- Optional: vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Cut the pineapple into rings or wedges, removing the skin and core.
- Mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Brush the pineapple pieces with melted butter, then sprinkle the brown sugar mixture evenly over them.
- Place the pineapple on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until caramelized.
- Drizzle with lime juice before serving if desired.
- Serve warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
Notes
Can prepare the pineapple in advance and store in the refrigerator for up to a day.
