- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons browned butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter and sugar until combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl and fold gently into the banana mixture.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the glaze, melt the additional butter in a saucepan until golden brown.
- Stir in powdered sugar and milk until smooth, then drizzle over the cooled banana bars.
- Let the glaze set before cutting into squares and serving.
