Description

A delightful salad featuring twisted pasta, crispy bacon, fresh peas, and creamy cheddar cheese, all tossed in a flavorful ranch dressing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (rotini or penne)
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add your chosen pasta. Cook according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain and let it cool in colander.
  2. Combine the ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta with your chopped bacon, thawed peas, cubes of cheddar cheese, and halved cherry tomatoes if you’re using them.
  3. Mix in the dressing: Pour ranch dressing over the pasta mixture, gently folding it in until every ingredient gets a luxurious coating.
  4. Season it: Taste your salad, then sprinkle in salt and pepper until deliciously seasoned.
  5. Chill: Cover your bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes.
  6. Enjoy: Serve as a side dish or a satisfying lunch on its own.
