Description

A flavorful Teriyaki Chicken Wrap filled with chicken, fresh vegetables, and a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce, wrapped in a flour tortilla.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine teriyaki sauce, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing into thin strips.
  4. Lay a tortilla flat, add a layer of lettuce, sliced chicken, carrots, cucumber, and green onions. Sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
  5. Wrap the tortilla tightly and repeat with remaining tortillas.
  6. Cut each wrap in half diagonally and serve with extra teriyaki sauce if desired.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free soy sauce and rice paper wraps or gluten-free tortillas. Marinating the chicken overnight enhances flavor.
