Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, then drain excess fat.
  3. Mix in the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream, blending until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Layer the meat mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Top with a single layer of frozen tater tots.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until tater tots are golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven, sprinkle cheese on top, and return for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
