- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix honey and softened butter until well combined.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
- Add buttermilk to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough and cut into biscuit shapes.
- Place biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- While biscuits are baking, heat the shredded chicken and mix with garlic powder and salt.
- Once biscuits are done, slice them in half and spread honey butter on each side.
- Add the warm chicken to the biscuit and close the sandwich.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
