Deliciously tender steak bites coated in a sweet and sticky glaze, perfect for impressing guests at any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
  2. Add the steak pieces to the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated steak bites.
  4. Cook the steak bites for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked to your liking.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry, then add it to the skillet to thicken the sauce.
  6. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce is sticky and coats the steak bites.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the steak overnight.
  • Serve with toothpicks for easy eating at parties.
