Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 4 whole wheat or corn tortillas
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 2 cups lettuce (romaine or butter)
- 1 cup fresh salsa
- 1/2 cup feta or queso fresco, crumbled
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine lime juice, chili powder, and salt. Toss in the chicken to coat and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F). Let rest before slicing.
- Lay a tortilla flat and layer with lettuce, chicken slices, avocado, salsa, and cheese.
- Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly from the bottom. Wet edges to seal if necessary.
- Cut the wrap in half and serve immediately, or wrap in foil for later.
Notes
For a deeper flavor, marinate chicken overnight. Use fresh ingredients for the best taste.
