- 1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
- 1 package stuffing mix
- 1 cup water or broth
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup ketchup (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the ground beef, stuffing mix, and water (or broth) in a large bowl.
- Add in the egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until integrated.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf form and place into your baking dish.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing together ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard in a separate bowl.
- Cover the meatloaf with the glaze mixture.
- Bake for about 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let the loaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
