Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into 1 to 1.5-inch cubes and pat dry.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  4. Reduce heat, add butter to skillet, and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Return steak bites to skillet, coating with garlic butter.
  6. In a separate saucepan, heat heavy cream until simmering, then whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth and thick.
  7. Plate steak bites, drizzle with creamy sauce, and sprinkle with parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream. Avoid overcrowding the pan when cooking to achieve a crispy sear.
