  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Marinate the pork chops in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Dredge the marinated pork chops in the flour mixture, coating them well.
  4. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the pork chops and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Remove the pork chops and keep warm.
  7. In the skillet, melt butter and add the remaining flour mixture to make a roux.
  8. Slowly whisk in milk and cook until thickened.
  9. Add crumbled bacon to the gravy and stir well.
  10. Serve the pork chops topped with bacon gravy.
