Description
Juicy chicken kissed with hot honey and wrapped in a crispy taco shell, topped with creamy chipotle sauce and fresh ingredients.
Ingredients
- Chicken Thighs or Breasts
- Cowboy Butter (Garlic Butter)
- Hot Honey
- Taco Shells (soft flour tortillas or crispy corn shells)
- Creamy Garlic Chipotle Sauce
- Shredded Lettuce
- Diced Tomatoes
- Shredded Cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- Cilantro
- Lime Wedges
Instructions
- Sear the chicken: Heat your skillet over medium-high heat, add cowboy butter, and then the chicken. Sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden.
- Mix in hot honey: Remove chicken, let it rest, then coat it with hot honey in a bowl.
- Prepare taco shells: Warm taco shells according to package instructions.
- Fill the tacos: Shred or chop honey-glazed chicken and place it in each taco shell.
- Top and serve: Drizzle with creamy sauce, add lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, and cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
Notes
Allow chicken to rest before slicing to keep juices sealed. Marinating chicken in hot honey can enhance flavor.
