- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup white wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet.
- Cook chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add garlic and mushrooms to the skillet, sautéing until mushrooms are tender.
- Pour in white wine and chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze.
- Add thyme and return chicken to the skillet, simmering for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use a dry white wine.
