  • Colored Water – 1 cup (mixed food coloring with water)
  • Vegetable Oil – 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Start by pouring the honey into the bottom of a clear jar, allowing it to settle.
  2. Slowly add the dish soap on top of the honey without disturbing it.
  3. Prepare colored water by mixing food coloring with water in a separate container.
  4. Carefully pour the colored water on top of the dish soap, sliding it against the jar’s inner side.
  5. Next, slowly add vegetable oil on top of the colored water.
  6. Observe how the different layers separate due to density differences.

Notes

Make sure to pour liquids slowly to maintain distinct layers. Experiment with flavored syrups for added fun!
