- 1 pound gnocchi
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté sliced mushrooms until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, reduce heat, and stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add cooked gnocchi to the skillet and gently toss to coat in the sauce. Heat for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
