- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Place the flour in a third bowl.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until warm, then pour over the baked chicken.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
