- 1 package frozen pierogis
- 1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sour cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the sliced kielbasa and cook until browned and crisp, about 7-10 minutes.
- Layer the frozen pierogis in a baking dish.
- Spoon the kielbasa and onion mixture over the pierogis.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Serve hot, optionally garnished with sour cream.
