Ingredients

  • 2 Slices Bread (sturdy sourdough or whole grain)
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Butter (unsalted)

Instructions

  1. Spread the butter generously on one side of each bread slice.
  2. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer the goat cheese evenly and drizzle honey on top.
  3. Place the second slice of bread on top, keeping the buttered sides facing out.
  4. Preheat your cast iron skillet or non-stick pan over medium heat.
  5. Place the sandwich in the pan and cook for 3–5 minutes until the bottom is golden and crispy.
  6. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook for another 3–5 minutes until melted and toasted.
  7. Remove from the pan, slice, and serve warm, optionally drizzling more honey on top.
