- 4 oz Goat Cheese
- 2 Slices Bread (sturdy sourdough or whole grain)
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Butter (unsalted)
Instructions
- Spread the butter generously on one side of each bread slice.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer the goat cheese evenly and drizzle honey on top.
- Place the second slice of bread on top, keeping the buttered sides facing out.
- Preheat your cast iron skillet or non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Place the sandwich in the pan and cook for 3–5 minutes until the bottom is golden and crispy.
- Flip the sandwich carefully and cook for another 3–5 minutes until melted and toasted.
- Remove from the pan, slice, and serve warm, optionally drizzling more honey on top.
Notes
Customize by adding vegetables or herbs to enhance flavor. For a different texture, consider air frying or baking the sandwich.
