Description

A savory and hearty dish featuring tender steak and crispy potatoes, all cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the halved baby potatoes and cook until golden brown and tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Remove the potatoes from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  6. Add the steak to the skillet and cook to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  7. Return the potatoes to the skillet, tossing everything together to coat in the garlic butter.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • You can substitute the steak with chicken or shrimp if desired.
  • Adjust the garlic amount based on your preference.
