Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the halved baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes until golden and tender.
- While the potatoes are roasting, heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak bites to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Add the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme to the skillet, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until melted and combined.
- Serve the garlic butter steak bites alongside the roasted potatoes.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the steak bites in garlic and herbs for a few hours before cooking.
- Feel free to add other vegetables to the roasting pan, such as carrots or bell peppers.
- Adjust the cooking time for the steak based on your preferred level of doneness.
