Ingredients

  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground meat over medium heat until browned.
  3. Add the onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Stir in the carrots, peas, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  6. Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
