- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the ground beef, uncooked rice, diced onion, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Form the mixture into meatballs about the size of a golf ball.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing the tomato sauce and water in a separate bowl.
- Combine the meatballs in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Finish baking by removing the foil and baking for an additional 15 minutes.
Notes
You can prep the meatball mixture a day in advance. For a quick option, try air frying the meatballs.
