- 1 lb ground sausage (mild or spicy)
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 10 oz can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies), drained
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley or green onions (chopped for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until crumbly and browned. Drain excess grease.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- Stir in shredded cheddar and mozzarella, then add drained Rotel, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and salt and pepper to taste. Fold in the cooked sausage.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions and serve hot with tortilla chips, crackers, or baguette slices.
Notes
Make ahead by storing in the refrigerator for up to a day before baking. Can also be cooked in an air fryer at 350°F for 15-20 minutes.
