Ingredients

  • 1 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Set up a breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and the breadcrumb mixture in a third.
  4. Dip each pickle slice in flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated pickle slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
