Description

Delightful crispy rolls filled with a creamy blend of feta, ricotta, and fresh herbs, drizzled with sweet chili honey.


Ingredients

  • 10 sheets of phyllo pastry
  • 8 ounces of feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley or dill)
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the crumbled feta, ricotta, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Lay one sheet of phyllo pastry on a clean surface and brush it lightly with olive oil.
  4. Layer another sheet on top and brush it with oil again.
  5. Place a tablespoon of the cheese mixture on one edge of the phyllo and roll it tightly to form a log.
  6. Repeat the process with the remaining phyllo and filling, ensuring each roll is well-formed.
  7. Transfer the rolls to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the tops of the rolls with more olive oil.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Mix honey and chili flakes in a small saucepan over low heat until warmed, for drizzling.
  11. Drizzle the chili honey over the baked rolls before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead by assembling rolls a few hours in advance. For a quicker method, use an air fryer at 375°F for 10-15 minutes.
