Description

Ingredients

  • Pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • Fresh spinach
  • Heavy cream
  • Garlic
  • Parmesan cheese

  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Optional: Grilled chicken or steak

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Fill a large pot with salted water, boil, and add pasta. Cook for 8-10 minutes for al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the garlic: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the spinach: Toss in fresh spinach and cook until it wilts, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Create the creamy sauce: Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Incorporate Parmesan: Gradually stir in grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Combine pasta and sauce: Toss cooked pasta in the skillet, adding reserved pasta water if too thick.
  7. Serve: Optionally top with grilled chicken or steak and serve immediately.

Notes

You can prepare the sauce ahead of time, just warm it before adding freshly cooked pasta. Customize with additional vegetables or proteins as desired.
