Description

A comforting and savory casserole featuring creamy cheese and tender pierogies blended with rich kielbasa, perfect for family gatherings and cozy dinners.


Ingredients

  • 3 packages of Mrs. T’s cheddar pierogies
  • 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Slice the kielbasa into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Grease the crockpot lightly. Place half of the frozen pierogies at the bottom, followed by half of the sliced kielbasa. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Cut the cream cheese into pieces and distribute it evenly over the top layer.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth gently.
  5. Add the remaining pierogies and kielbasa, then sprinkle with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until heated through.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For added crunch, garnish with crispy fried onions or chives before serving. Prepare layers a day in advance for convenience.
