Description
Deliciously crispy quesadillas filled with juicy chicken, gooey cheese, spicy jalapeños, and sweet hot honey.
Ingredients

- 4 Flour tortillas
- 2 cups Cooked and shredded chicken
- 2 cups Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp Hot honey
- 1–2 Jalapeños, diced
- ½ cup Sour cream
- 1 tbsp Fresh lime juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- Heat the skillet: Drizzle a tablespoon of olive oil in your skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Layer the tortilla: Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle shredded chicken and cheese onto half of the tortilla. Add diced jalapeños.
- Cook until golden: Fold the tortilla and press down gently. Cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Repeat: Remove the quesadilla and let it rest. Repeat the process with remaining tortillas and fillings.
- Prepare the jalapeño cream sauce: Mix diced jalapeños, sour cream, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Serve and drizzle: Cut the quesadillas into wedges and drizzle with hot honey. Serve with jalapeño cream sauce.
Notes
Customize with different proteins or increase the heat by adding more jalapeños. For a lighter version, try making them in an air fryer.
