- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup salsa verde
- 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the chicken breasts with the olive oil mixture.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- During the last few minutes of grilling, top each chicken breast with salsa verde and shredded pepper jack cheese.
- Close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with a side of rice or salad for a complete meal.
- Adjust the amount of salsa verde based on your spice preference.
- Can be made in the oven if grilling is not an option.
