- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract in a large bowl, stirring until well mixed.
- Whisk together the rolled oats, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips carefully.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each scone.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden on top.
- Mix powdered sugar with milk for glaze and drizzle over cooled scones.
