Description
Succulent chicken breasts bathed in a rich, creamy sauce infused with crispy bacon and ranch seasoning.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 6 slices of bacon, diced
- 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat your large pot or skillet over medium heat. Toss in the diced bacon and cook until crispy. Remove the bacon and let it drain on paper towels, leaving the drippings in the pot.
- Season the chicken breasts liberally with salt and pepper, then add them to the pot. Sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken, allowing it to blend into the meat.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring gently to combine all the flavors.
- Bring everything to a gentle simmer, cover the pot, and let it cook for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and tender.
- Stir in the cooked bacon and garnish with fresh chopped parsley just before serving.
Notes
Make-ahead tips include prepping the bacon and chicken ahead of time. Customize with sautéed mushrooms or spinach for added richness.
