Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into patties.
  3. In a skillet, brown the patties on both sides over medium heat.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and frozen mixed vegetables.
  5. Place the browned patties in a baking dish and pour the soup mixture over them.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
