Description

A simple yet elegant spaghetti dish featuring juicy cherry tomatoes, fragrant garlic, and fresh basil, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces Spaghetti
  • 2 cups Cherry Tomatoes
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil, torn
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Spaghetti: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until it is al dente. Drain well and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Garlic: In a large skillet, pour in olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add Cherry Tomatoes: Toss in the cherry tomatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and cook until they soften, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Combine with Spaghetti: Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss together, coating the pasta in the sauce.
  5. Finish with Basil: Remove from heat, fold in fresh basil leaves, and toss to combine.
  6. Serve with Parmesan: Plate the spaghetti and finish with grated Parmesan and a sprinkle of black pepper.

Notes

For added flavor, consider roasting cherry tomatoes before adding them to the pasta.
